If you know one thing about me, you might know that I love buffies–sorry, bison. That is what normal people call them. It was such a joy to weave my love of this beautiful animal into my fourth middle grade novel, Where We Used to Roam. And it was even more of a joy today to learn that Where We Used to Roam is long-listed for the 32nd Annual Reading the West Book Awards!
